Registered Nurse | Rural contracts | Cherbourg Hospital

• Negotiable rates | Rural allowances | minimum $70 RN1.3

• Work in a rural hospital emergency department - 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts - 80 hours a fortnight

• Accommodation provided, travel costs (fuel) reimbursed

Cherbourg is located off the Bunya Highway approximately 250km north-west of Brisbane. Cherbourg Hospital is a 12 bed hospital in the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service. Cherbourg Hospital's accident and emergency service is one of the biggest services provided at the hospital and is a crucial emergency service for the community.

Role

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with experience in Emergency Care. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The flexibility to handle a rotating roster will also be key for this role.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered Nurse in the ED department

• Current Criminal History check

• First Aid and BLS/CPR

• Rights to work in Australia
