Registered Nurse | 3-month Contract | ASAP START

A fantastic opportunity is now available for a 3-month contract in Mackay under Queensland Health. The contract is an ASAP start until the 14th of April.

About the role

Located in the beautiful Mackay region, our client is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Medical F2 Ward. Medical F2 is an acute 30 bed medical ward that cares for patients with a diverse range of medical conditions including, cardiac, diabetes, respiratory and palliative care patients. F2 is a digital ward using both ieMR and MAR for charting and medication administration.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated competence in providing quality nursing care per NMBA standard. You will have highly developed interpersonal communication skills that will not only support you in building strong trusting relationships with patients, but also with your local team.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in acute care

• Bachelor of Nursing and Unconditional AHPRA registration

• National Police Clearance

• Full Working Rights in Australia

• Current CPR

• Willing to undergo any additional required training/induction material.

Desirable

• ieMR competency

• Previous experience with QLD Health or Mackay HHS
