Clinical Nurse | 3-month Contract ASAP START

A fantastic opportunity is now available for a 3-month contract in Emerald under Queensland Health. The contract is an ASAP start until the 31stof December.

About the role

Located in the beautiful Central Highlands region, our client is seeking a Clinical Nurse to work in the Community Mental Health setting at Emerald Hospital. In this role you will deliver mental health clinical services, including mental state and risk assessment, triage, care planning, case management and therapy interventions and contribute to development of clinical practices, procedures, and protocols.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated competence in providing quality nursing care per NMBA standard. You will have highly developed interpersonal communication skills that will not only support you in building strong trusting relationships with patients, but also with your local team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in Mental Health

• Bachelor of Nursing and Unconditional AHPRA registration

• National Police Clearance

• Full Working Rights in Australia

• BLS certificate

• Immunisation requirements ??? Covid, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Pertussis

• Willing to undergo any additional required training/induction material.

• Mandatory Training

• Child Abuse and Neglect, Code of Conduct (including Workplace Harassment), Cultural Awareness, Cuber Security Essentials, Fire Training, Fraud Control Awareness, Hand Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control, Medication Safety, Occupation Violence Prevention Fundamentals, Patient Handling (Theory), Recognise respond refer ??? Domestic and Family Violence, Work Health Safety and Wellbeing Induction.
