We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Care Manager for one of our Not for Profit Aged Care facilities in Adelaide.

Job Role

You will be responsible for the management of the clinical care team including effective rostering, training, performance management and standards to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to residents and their families. Deliver clinical care and service as required.

Experience

Demonstrated experience in a leadership role including workload management, performance management, project management and critical and reflective thinking skills in decision making and problem solving.

• Experience as a Clinical Nurse or Nursing Manager

• Proven leadership and people management skills

• Excellent customer relations skills and a commitment to providing quality service

• Commitment to continuous improvement and achieving best practice

• Advanced organisation skills including time management and prioritisation.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and current practicing certificate

• Senior First Aid Certificate

• Comprehensive clinical knowledge of the aging process and particular aged related health issues

• Working knowledge of relevant legislation

• Working knowledge of Work Health Safety Act

• All vaccinations for influenza, COVID-19 and other viruses as recommended or mandated from time to time by ATAGI (unless approved medical exemption gained)

• Relevant post graduate qualifications highly desirable
