About the job

Our client is currently seeking two full-time temp Registered Nurses to work in an acute Hospital in Mt Isa. This hospital comes under rural and remote health and has 3 theatres with morning shifts only and on-call 7 days a week theatre. Staff will be rostered for on-calls on weekdays, weekends, public holiday. We work only from Monday to Friday and weekends are covered by on-call staff.

What you will need

• Registration with AHPRA

• Relevant experience in Anaesthetics/recovery (desirable) OR Scrub and Scout experience

• Demonstrated people and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with management to achieve strategic goals

• Time management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• Current and clear Police Check or ability to obtain

• Ability to work legally in Australia

• Be reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and flexible

• Be able to work weekends and public holidays on occasions
