Registered/Clinical Midwife

Role
WorkPac Health and Social Care are a leading provider of recruitment and workforce solutions in health, social care and related industries. We are currently seeking experienced midwives to complete a temporary placement in the Mt Isa Hospital Maternity Ward.

As a Registered or Clinical Midwife, you will provide clinical care to patients in Mt Isa and have the opportunity to engage in learning, training, and other development opportunities. Mount Isa is a vibrant, multicultural place, which entices people from all corners of the globe to make this wonderful outback city their home.

This placement is perfect for clinicians who are looking for a longer contract in the new year from January to the end of June, with the flexibility to change dates if required.

Experience and Requirements

• Current unrestricted AHPRA

• Current Basic Life Support

• Current Criminal History Check

• Foetal Surveillance Education Certificate or K2 Certificates

• Midwifery Emergency Training eg. FONT, PROMPT, MACRM, ALSO

• Neonatal Resuscitation

• Ability to work in antenatal, birth suite, and postnatal, with recent birth suite experience.

• Willing to complete any site-specific required training.

• Current VPD Evidence Form

• Work rights in Australia.
